DR BARBARA FEINMESSER

I’m a small-animal veterinarian with over 20 years of experience working in Israel and Australia, and I feel incredibly privileged to care for pets and the people who love them.

After graduating from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Ko?ice, Slovakia, I co-owned and led a busy companion-animal clinic in Israel, before relocating to Australia and eventually settling in Sydney. 

My professional interests include preventive medicine, feline health (cats have always had a special place in my heart), dentistry, chronic disease management, and using nutrition as an important part of treatment and long-term wellbeing. 

I particularly enjoy guiding pets and their humans through every life stage — from enthusiastic puppy visits to compassionate end-of-life care. 

I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Hebrew, as well as a touch of Slovak, which helps me connect with families from many different backgrounds and build strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Outside the clinic, I live with my partner, 14 yr old son and Kruvy - a 15 yr old rescue pup who is the love of my life.

I’m an early riser, a highly enthusiastic and accomplished baker and an avid reader who happily returns to Jane Austen whenever time allows.
